Overview
Your end-users in Featurebase primarily receive notifications via email when you send Updates or when there are updates relevant to them, such as support responses or status updates for Requests they follow.
Users can manage these notification preferences themselves, or your team can update them from their profile. Email Subscriptions control Outbound Email lists and product Update emails.
Notification types include:
Support notifications (not possible to disable)
Updating your customers’ subscription preferences
Open a user in the Users directory. Under Email preferences, use the Feedback tab for Request notifications and the Subscription tab for Outbound Email lists and the premade Updates Subscription.
You cannot subscribe a user again after they have opted out themselves. They must change that preference from their own email preferences page.
The premade Updates Subscription controls who receives product Update emails.
Note: You must have permission from a person to send them marketing emails. If you don’t, your emails may legally be deemed as spam. You should ensure that your email activities comply with these laws.
How end-users configure their notification preferences
All end-users can easily edit their notification preferences and unsubscribe themselves by either
going to their ‘Email Preferences’ under their profile or
clicking the ‘Manage email preferences’ option at the bottom of one of the Featurebase emails they’ve received
