Overview

Your default brand gives your customer-facing Featurebase surfaces a recognizable name, logo, and accent color. You can set these up without creating additional brands.

Note: You need the Manage Branding permission to change these settings.

Set your brand name, logo, and color

  1. Go to Settings → Workspace → Branding

  2. Open the brand marked Default if you have more than one brand

  3. Enter your customer-facing name in Name

  4. Click the logo image and upload a PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP, or SVG file

  5. Choose Brand color with the color picker or enter a HEX color value

Changes save as you edit. After entering text or a HEX value, click outside the field to finish the change. To replace the logo later, click the current logo and upload another file, or click 'Remove' beside it to remove the logo.

Brand color sets the primary accent used across the Customer Portal and widgets. The portal's theme and background color are set separately in Customer Portal appearance. Both pages also show the Remove Featurebase branding card, described in Removing Featurebase branding.

Tip: Use a logo that stays clear at the small size shown in portal navigation and widgets.

Check where your branding appears

Open your Customer Portal and check the name, logo, and color together. Also check the customer surfaces you use, such as your Help Center and widgets, because they can have additional appearance settings.

Note: Your brand identity is separate from your email sending address and email customizations. Configure those to change the sender or the look of your emails.

Set up additional brands

Use multiple brands when you need more than one customer-facing identity in the same Workspace. Each brand has its own name, logo, and color. Brands apply to the Help Center and Messenger; the Customer Portal always uses the brand marked Default.
