Overview
The Customer Portal connects your customer-facing Feedback Portal, Roadmaps, Help Center, Updates, and Ticket Portal. Use its shared settings to manage appearance, navigation, custom domains, and access.
Each product keeps its own content and setup. For example, you manage Request categories in Requests and publish help articles in your Help Center.
Common use cases:
One menu for every product - Link your Feedback Portal, Roadmaps, Help Center, Updates, and Ticket Portal from one portal menu
Consistent branding - Apply the same name, logo, and colors to every page customers see
Recognizable address - Host the portal on a domain you own
Controlled access - Keep the portal public or limit it to your team and approved customers
Multiple languages - Offer content and menu labels in the languages your customers use
Choose the pages customers can use
Open Settings → Customer Portal → Navigation to choose the pages shown in your portal menu. Use 'Configure' beside a page to open its product settings.
Requests: Your Feedback Portal, where customers submit, discuss, and vote on Requests
Roadmaps: Share planned, active, and completed work
Help Center: Publish articles customers can use to find answers
Updates: Share product and company announcements
Tickets: Give customers a place to manage their tickets
You can reorder the menu, rename items, or add custom links. Pages listed as unavailable need to be enabled or configured in their product first.
Apply your brand
Start with Workspace branding to set your default brand name, logo, and accent color. Then customize Customer Portal appearance to choose the theme, background color, and social sharing image.
The Customer Portal always uses your default brand. Additional brands apply to the Help Center and Messenger, and you choose the brand in those products' settings.
Note: Customer Portal appearance, navigation, and access apply across the Workspace and do not change per brand.
Set up domains and access
Connect a custom domain to give customers a recognizable address. The Feedback Portal, Ticket Portal, and Help Center have separate domain settings.
Choose public or private access and the sign-in methods customers should use, and review what changes when you make the portal private. Category and Request visibility, Roadmap privacy controls, and Help Center privacy controls further limit what a permitted customer sees. Search engine indexing only controls whether public pages appear in search results.
Support multiple languages
Localize your Customer Portal by configuring the languages for each product and translating your menu labels.
Note: Adding a language to one product does not translate the other products' content.
