A custom domain lets you receive feedback using your own domain, offering a seamless experience and consistent brand identity for customers.
It can also help your board to appear more trustworthy, professional, and impacts your SEO score positively.
This feature is available only on Paid plans. You can learn to set up Help Center custom domain here.
Setting up a custom domain
1. Configure your custom domain in Featurebase
In Featurebase, go to Settings → Custom Domain → Web Portal
Enter your preferred custom domain in the first fields (e.g. feedback.yourdomain.com)
Click Save
2. Configure your DNS records
Go to your DNS provider's portal (e.g. Cloudflare, OpenDNS, Quad9, or any another)
Create a new CNAME record:
For the 'Name' field, use your chosen subdomain name. You can copy it directly from the 'Name' field in Featurebase.
In the 'Content' field, input 'customdomains.featurebase.app'. Make sure that the address is exactly the same as stated in bold to ensure correct routing.
3. Confirm your changes and finalize the setup
Wait approximately 10 minutes for DNS changes to propagate.
Check the SSL Certificate Status in Featurebase. Once it displays Active in green, your feedback board will be accessible via the new custom subdomain.
