Overview

Requesters are the people associated with a Request. Use them to record who needs a change, see the customer and company context behind it, and keep the Request connected to the right people.

Insights hold the supporting feedback behind a Request, while Requesters identify the people asking for it.

View Requesters

  1. Open a Request

  2. Click 'View requesters' in its details

  3. Select a customer or company to inspect their context and supporting feedback

Contacts from the same company are grouped together. The context shown can include revenue from synced customer data, Impact ratings, and linked Insights. Search the list to find a customer, then open their profile when you need more detail.

Tip: Use customer and company data for prioritization to compare demand across Requests.

Add or remove Requesters

Add a customer

  1. Open the Request's Requester list

  2. Click 'Add customer'

  3. Search for and select the customer, or create a new customer from the picker

  4. Add impact answers only when the customer has given them

Remove a customer

Open the customer in the Requester list, then choose 'More actions' → 'Remove from request' and confirm. For a company with several contacts, remove the relevant contact from its contact list.

Note: The removed customer's Insights stay where they were captured, and their customer profile is not deleted.

Record feedback on behalf of a customer

Choose the action that matches what you need to record:

  • The customer needs an existing Request: Add them as a Requester

  • You have their explanation or a quote: Add an Insight from their Requester entry

  • They describe a new need: Create a Request with the customer as its author

  • You need to continue a discussion: Comment on the Request

This keeps the person, the Request, and the original feedback connected without creating a duplicate Request for each conversation.

Export Requester data

Open the Requester list and click 'Export CSV'. The file contains customer name, company, email, MRR, Insight count, importance, and the latest supporting text shown in the list.

Tip: Use Exporting Requests when you need the Requests themselves rather than the people behind them.
