Overview
You can hide selected Request details from customers while keeping them available to your team. These display settings control the information shown on the Feedback Portal.
To restrict who can read a Request, use category access and Request visibility instead.
Show or hide Request details
Go to Settings → Requests → Collection → Feedback Portal → Privacy. Choose the settings you want:
'Hide request statuses': Hide statuses from customers on the portal
'Hide ETAs': Hide estimated delivery dates on Requests and Roadmaps
'Hide vote counts until voting': Hide a Request's vote count until the customer votes for it
Request and comment dates
Dates are controlled per category:
Go to Settings → Requests → Management → Categories and edit a category
Open the Portal tab
Turn 'Public request & comment dates' on or off
Click 'Save changes'
Hide customer identities
In Feedback Portal → Privacy, turn on 'Hide customer identities' to replace customer names and avatars with anonymous ones on Requests and comments. This also hides the public leaderboard.
Note: Hiding identities changes how customers appear to other customers. It does not turn an identified customer into a guest.
Control the default feedback view
Open Feedback Portal → Layout to choose what customers see in the default feedback list:
'Hide completed & canceled requests': Keep the default list focused on active Requests. Customers can still find completed and canceled Requests with status filters
'Show leaderboard': Show or hide the public leaderboard
Tip: After changing display settings, test the portal as a customer. Your teammate view can show information that customers do not see.
