Overview

Customer Portal appearance settings control the default theme, the dark-mode background color, and the image used when someone shares a portal link. Your brand name, logo, and accent color are managed separately in Workspace branding, and the look of your emails in Email customizations.

Open the appearance settings

Go to Settings → Customer Portal → Appearance. Changes save as you edit.

These settings apply to the whole Customer Portal. If you use multiple brands, the portal uses the brand marked Default. To change the name, logo, or accent color, click 'Open Branding' beside Workspace identity.

Set the theme and background color

Choose a Default theme:

• System default: Start with the visitor's system theme

• Light: Start with the light appearance

• Dark: Start with the dark appearance

With Dark or System default, you can also set Background color with the color picker or a HEX value. Featurebase applies it while the dark appearance is active.

Set the social sharing image

Upload an image under Social media preview. Featurebase uses it for the preview when someone shares a Customer Portal link. The recommended image size is 1200 × 630 pixels.

Remove Featurebase branding

Use the Remove Featurebase branding card to hide the "Powered by Featurebase" mentions across your Customer Portal, widgets, and emails. Removing Featurebase branding explains what is included and how to enable it.

Preview the result

Click 'View Customer Portal' to open the portal. Check the theme, contrast, and logo together, then check your Help Center and widgets.

To change the menu or the pages shown to customers, use Customer Portal navigation. Feedback-specific wording and layout belong in Feedback Portal setup.
