Overview

Create separate Messengers for each brand with unique logos, colors, and domains. This lets you support multiple products or companies from a single Featurebase workspace while keeping Messenger consistent for each brand.

Note: This is available only on the Enterprise plan

Get started

1. Create multiple brands

Creating multiple brands in Featurebase.

Start off by creating a new brand:

  1. Go to Settings → Branding

  2. Click + Add Brand from the bottom right

  3. Give this brand a name, logo, and colors that will be visible to customers

  4. Select a default notification email address that this brand will use for notifications and automatic emails

  5. Select the Help Center you want to connect this brand to, so the correct articles are visible to your customers in Messenger and used in conversations with the Fibi AI Agent

  6. Configure domain rules by adding the website domains where this brand’s Messenger should appear, so visitors on those sites see the correct brand version

  7. Click Save

2. Customize the Messenger for each brand

Customizing Messenger widget for each brand.

After setting up additional Brands, it’s simple to customize the Messenger to suit each brand:

  1. Just go to Settings → Support → Messenger → Customization

  2. Select the brand from the dropdown

  3. Customize the Messenger to match that brand by following this guide

Notes:

  • Make sure you've connected your Messenger style to the correct brand and Help Center to show the correct support content in the Messenger.

  • Selectively turning Help Centers on / off per brand is currently not available. If you don't want to publish Help Center content for a specific brand, simply connect this brand to a Help Center that isn't live.

How Messenger appears

In the Messenger

With multi-brand Messenger styles, the Inbox shows which brand the message came for.

When the Messenger loads on a domain:

  • It automatically applies the matching brand style

  • The Messenger position follows the selected style settings

When a conversation starts, you can see the active brand in the Inbox under conversation attributes.

In email notifications

For conversations started in the Messenger:

  • Emails appear as: <Teammate name> from <Brand name>

  • Emails are branded based on the matched domain

Note:

  • Multi-brand email branding only applies to conversations started in the Messenger

  • It does not apply to inbound email conversations
