No log-in posting, upvoting, and commenting

Allow your users to post, upvote, and comment without signing up first.

The guest actions allow users to engage with your Public Portal without signing up:

  • No log-in posting: Anyone can submit feedback without signing up.

  • No log-in upvoting (default): Anyone can vote on posts without signing up.

  • No log-in commenting: Users can comment on posts without signing up.

NB! No log-in upvoting is enabled by default for all organizations. Posting and commenting are not.

To enable No log-in posting, upvoting, or commenting:

  1. Go to Settings → Feedback & Roadmaps → Portal settings → Guest actions

  2. Check the No log-in posting, upvoting, or commenting checkboxes

NB! If the user has voted or posted anonymously, they’ll not be notified about anything, including replies and status changes.
