Overview
You can customize the email signature of support emails sent from your team Inbox. You can add signature text, a logo, and choose the name shown in the email’s From field.
The signature is configured for your workspace. If your workspace uses multiple brands, you can keep the workspace default or save an override for a specific brand.
Configure your signature

If your workspace has multiple brands, choose the workspace default or the brand you want to configure
Turn on Enable signature
Enter the text you want to include in every support email
Optionally upload a logo, then choose its position and size
Under From name, choose whether to use the teammate’s name or a custom name
Select Save
The preview shows how the configured signature will appear below a support reply.
Note: Turning off Enable signature stops Featurebase from adding the configured signature to support emails.
Use sender details in a signature

You can use one shared signature while still showing the name or email address of the teammate who sends each reply.
To do this, add a dynamic field - a placeholder that Featurebase replaces with the sender's details when the email is sent. Click in Signature text, type {, then choose Author full name, Author first name, or Author email. You can also add workspace details such as App name.
For example, add a shared sign-off followed by Author full name. If Oliver sends a reply, the signature shows Oliver's name. If Sam sends the next reply, the same signature shows Sam's name instead.
Choose the From name

The From name controls the name customers see in the From field of support emails.
Use teammate name: Shows the name of the teammate sending the reply
Use custom name: Shows the custom name you enter instead
Sender fields in the signature still resolve for the teammate who sends that specific reply.
Use a workspace default or brand override

When your workspace has multiple brands, use the Brand menu at the top of the Signatures settings to choose which signature to configure.
Workspace default: Used for support emails unless a brand has its own saved signature
Brand signature: Replaces the workspace default for emails sent through that brand
A brand with no saved signature inherits the workspace default. Save a signature while that brand is selected to create its override.
