Overview
Have a small group of end users that you want to give access to your private feedback portal, but don’t want to set up a complex SSO flow?
You can manually invite users by their email addresses to give them access and send them an email invite. If you have a private portal, you can use this to cherry-pick users, such as beta testers, to whom you want to give access.
Note: If you have a public portal, all of your end-users can access it anyway. Learn to share your feedback portal through different methods listed here →
Manually inviting end-users
To manually invite a small group of end-users to your private portal:
Go to Dashboard → Users
Click the ‘Add users’ button on the top right & select ‘Invite end users’
Insert the email(s) of the users by separating them with commas
Tag them with relevant User Tags, like ‘Beta tester’ (optional)
Choose if you want to notify them by email (and customize the message if necessary)
Click ‘Invite user’
