Overview

Your Feedback Portal is the customer-facing place to browse Requests, share feedback, vote, and discuss ideas. Your team manages the Requests behind it in Featurebase. The Feedback & Roadmap demos show the customer experience in action.

You choose who can access the portal, what customers can see, and which actions they can take. The Feedback Portal is one part of your Customer Portal, alongside the other pages you enable.

How customers use your Feedback Portal

Browse and find Requests

Customers can search for an existing Request and browse the categories available to them. Sorting helps them explore recent or popular feedback.

The list reflects your access and display settings. For example, you can hide vote counts until a customer votes or hide completed Requests from the default view.

Submit and support Requests

Customers can submit a new Request or vote for an existing one. Voting lets them express interest without creating another Request for the same need.

You can ask Impact questions to understand how important the Request is, how often the customer would use it, and when they need it. You also choose whether to allow guest submissions and voting.

Discuss Requests and follow progress

Customers can add comments, answer questions, and follow the Requests they care about. Your team can reply and share status updates as decisions change.

Note: You control whether Requests and comments need approval before they appear publicly.

How portal feedback reaches your team

Portal feedback becomes part of your Requests workflow. With AI organization enabled through Autopilot, a submission can support an existing Request or be organized into new Requests.

Note: Publication approval is a separate choice. You can use AI to organize feedback and still review what becomes public.

Choose your portal setup

Set up your Feedback Portal to choose its wording, default sorting, and collection settings, and add feedback languages if customers use more than one. Connect shared Customer Portal settings for branding, navigation, domains, and access before you share it with customers.
