Overview
Your end-users in Featurebase primarily receive notifications via email when you send changelog releases or when there are updates relevant to them, such as support responses or status updates for requests they are subscribed to.
End-users themselves, as well as you, can easily configure these settings for them to easily opt out of non-essential communications without missing what’s important to them.
Here are all possible email notifications end-users can get:
Support notifications (not possible to disable)
Updating your customers’ subscription preferences

You can see everyone’s subscription preferences from customers’ profiles in the User directory.
From there, you can edit these preferences manually, in compliance with applicable data, privacy, and email marketing laws.
You can also configure auto-subscribing to changelog releases by following this guide.
Note: You must have permission from a person to send them marketing emails. If you don’t, your emails may legally be deemed as spam. You should ensure that your email activities comply with these laws.
How end-users configure their notification preferences

All end-users can easily edit their notification preferences and unsubscribe themselves by either
going to their ‘Email Preferences’ under their profile or
clicking the ‘Manage email preferences’ option at the bottom of one of the Featurebase emails they’ve received
