Overview

We want you to be fully aware when you reach certain usage levels in Featurebase, which is why you can set up your own Fibi AI usage alerts to keep your budget on track.

All teammates with a ‘Manage billing permission’ will be notified via email when you reach your set usage levels.

The usage overview provides a full view of how many Fibi AI resolutions your workspace has consumed during the current billing cycle.

To view your usage, go to Settings → Pricing plans.

Manage Fibi AI usage alerts & hard limits

Setting Fibi AI usage alerts and limits.

You can get notifications when your workspace is approaching or has hit a specific AI usage level. To set an alert:

  1. Go to Settings → Pricing plans

  2. Click on ‘Edit usage caps’ under the Fibi AI usage section

  3. Set the Soft Cap - once reached, notifies all teammates with billing access by email, but won’t disable Fibi AI Agent

  4. Set the Hard Cap - once reached, turns off Fibi AI usage for the remainder of your billing period to prevent unexpected overages

  5. Click Save Caps

For any new conversations started after the hard cap limit is reached, the conversation will immediately jump to your configured handover steps. Fibi will not be considered involved in these conversations, so they won’t count towards your resolution rate. For conversations already in progress when the limit was hit, the handover will trigger the next time the customer interacts with them.

Note:

  • You can’t currently set the Hard Cap higher than 2000 to protect you from high invoices. If you need to set the cap higher, contact us via live chat or email support@featurebase.app, and we’d be happy to change it for you!

  • We cannot guarantee the limit will be 100% accurate. Due to the nature of resolutions and how we calculate them, the state of conversations can change over time. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that Fibi AI Agent will be stopped at that exact limit, and the final number of resolutions can be slightly higher/lower.

  • If you enter a limit that is lower than your current usage, then Fibi AI Agent answers will be disabled immediately. If the number of resolutions falls below the configured limit, Fibi AI Agent answers will be re-enabled again.

  • The hard limit you set can't be lower than what's included in your subscription (i.e. if you have contracted resolutions). For example, if you have 50 resolutions included in your subscription and you set the hard limit to 30, you'll still be charged for 50 resolutions.
