User's Module

Get an overview of all your users and filter them by different rules like top posters, etc.

What is it

The user's module allows you to get an overview of everyone that has interacted on your feedback board.

You can view what posts each user has made, what they have upvoted, etc...

In addition to that, you can also sort users by top posters, voters, and commenters and create all sorts of user segments to filter users or feedback.


How it works

When users come to your board and perform an action such as upvoting a post or commenting, they are automatically added to the users list.

You can also add users manually or use our API or SDK to it automatically.

You can then use the user's module to see all the available data on each of your users and use different ways to sort and filter out the info you need.


Adding users

Adding users to featurebase.
  1. Go to Dashboard β†’ Users

  2. Click 'Add users' in the top right

  3. Fill in the email and choose the selected role

  4. Hit 'Add user' and you're done

P.S. You can add multiple users at once by separating them with commas.

Alternatively, you can use:

to automatically sync your users with Featurebase, so all the necessary information like monthly spending, user Ids, company name, etc... will be included in the user's module and on every post.


Creating user segments

  1. Go to Dashboard β†’ Users

  2. Click the gear icon near the user segment area and then hit 'New'

  3. Fill in the name of the segment and select the rules

  4. Hit 'Save' and you're done

Public user profiles

All users can see their activity (posts, comments, upvotes) under their profile on the public portal:

  1. On a public feedback portal, click on your profile picture at the top right.

  2. Select 'My profile'

Good to know: All users also have a notification center on the public portal (similar to what admins have) to catch up with unviewed replies and mentions that they missed via email. πŸ””
