By default, your Featurebase organization is public and visible to all of your users who visit it. However, you can also use Featurebase in a private mode for internal alignment and communication. Learn which one is right for you. π
Public organization
A public organization is visible to everyone who visits your public portal. This means your users can view and submit ideas, view changelogs, and see your help center.
Who it's for:
Most of our customers, especially if you want to collect user feedback, share updates, and build a help center.
Companies that want to share updates and resources with their end-users.
Private organization
A private organization makes sure that everything isnβt shown publicly. You have full control over the people who get access to leave feedback, view the changelog and other modules.
3 authentications are available to give access:
Access by company email
Access by Microsoft Entra ID
Unlimited possibilities - Access to everyone who authenticates with our custom SSO solution
Who it's for:
Companies who donβt want to open their plans and feedback up to the entire internet, but only their customer base
Companies that want to discuss feedback or share updates internally
Good to know: If you want to keep your organization public but still want to manage some feedback internally, you can use private boards. Posts on these boards are only visible to your organization's admins.
