Overview

The “Improve answer” feature lets you give Fibi feedback on a specific AI-generated reply and act on the results – by editing an existing help article or adding a Q&A snippet to your Training Data. Each correction improves future answers on the same topic.


Improving Fibi AI answers

1. Open the Improve answer panel

In the Inbox, open any conversation where Fibi has replied. Each AI-generated answer has an “Improve answer” button in the bottom right of the reply. Click it to open the Improve answer panel on the side.

The button only appears on Fibi's research answers – the ones where Fibi used your help center or Training Data to answer. It does not show on workflow replies, follow-up prompts, etc.

2. Describe what went wrong

The panel opens with a prompt to describe the issue. Be specific – the more detail you give, the better the suggestions:

  • "The answer says we offer monthly billing, but we only do annual"

  • "Fibi missed that this only applies to Enterprise plans"

  • "The article it pulled from is outdated – we changed this last month"

When you submit, Fibi reads the conversation alongside your feedback and streams suggestions back into the panel.

3. Improve how Fibi handles this question in the future

Once Fibi has finished thinking, you get two ways to fix the answer for next time.

Edit an existing article

For each Help Center article Fibi thinks is relevant, the panel shows:

  • The article title and when it was last updated

  • A Relevant passage – the verbatim line Fibi matched on

  • A Suggested change – Fibi's proposed edit, written as a short instruction

Click Copy to copy the suggested change to your clipboard, or Open editor to open the article in a new tab and apply the change yourself.

If Fibi can't confidently match the issue to any article, the panel falls back to the closest help center search results for your feedback, so you can pick the right place to add new content.

Add a Q&A snippet to Training Data

Below the articles, Fibi proposes a snippet for your Training Data – a question and answer pair that's not visible to customers and used only to improve Fibi's coverage. The question and answer arrive pre-filled from your feedback; edit either field before saving.

  • Click Save Snippet to add it as a new entry in Training Data → Q&A

  • If Fibi matched the topic to an existing snippet, the card defaults to Update Snippet instead – your edits overwrite the existing one. Click Create new instead to keep the old one untouched

Saved snippets become part of Fibi's training data immediately and are used the next time a similar question comes in.
