This is a complete guide to migrating your user feedback from Canny to Featurebase, using a CSV file.
There are 2 possible ways to export your data from Canny:
Exporting all boards (or filtered selection of posts)

Exporting all boards (or filtered selection of posts)
This method can be used to export all of your feedback or only certain posts you've specified with filters.
Go to your Canny feedback page
Choose all boards and filters you'd like to export and hit download
Exporting a single feedback board
This method lets you export a single feedback board of your choice.
Go to the Boards tab in your Canny Settings
Select the Export Data option and hit 'Export'
Importing Feedback to Featurebase
On the 'Getting Started' screen, click 'Import data'. Or simply click here 👈
Upload your feedback data CSV file.
Match the data types. For example, pick 'upvotes' for 'score'. This might vary based on the tool you're migrating from.
Click 'Next' on the top right.
Match statuses. For instance, pick 'In Review' for 'open'.
Match boards. If you haven't prepared the ones you need yet, you can create them on the go by typing in the search box and pressing 'enter'.
Click 'Start Importing' on the top right to begin.
