✨ Nothing changes for existing customers who subscribed before Dec 4th, 2025! You can stay on legacy pricing unless you choose to upgrade.

Over the last year, Featurebase has grown from a simple feedback tool to a complete support & product suite used across support, product, and GTM teams. We're powering thousands of teams from startups to enterprises, including Lovable, Profound, Raycast, n8n, and more.

Today, we are introducing a new pricing model to better reflect this increased value and to be more flexible for teams of different sizes.

Short version

  • Existing customers stay on legacy pricing unless you choose to upgrade

  • New seat-based pricing that scales fairly for every team size (live now)

  • Smaller teams pay less and get more advanced features upfront

  • Larger teams pay for the value they get, without strange feature gating or limits that don’t make sense

  • Fibi AI now costs $0.29 per successful resolution, which is significantly lower than competitors

  • We launched a Startup program that gives 80% off and 1 year of Fibi AI free to eligible teams

Why we made a change

Over the last year, Featurebase's value has grown more than in all previous years combined.

We took on an ambitious challenge of building a full customer service platform with live chat, automations, AI agents, mobile apps, and workflows - on top of the product management suite you already use. And we actually shipped it, plus a lot more.

A massive increase in value

Since the start of the year, we’ve added a ton of value to Featurebase:

  • We've shipped over 15 major updates and hundreds of improvements across both the support and product suites.

  • Introduced 3 entirely new product lines, allowing you to provide AI-powered customer support via a unified inbox, automate repetitive tasks with workflows, and handle support on the go with our mobile app

  • A complete rework of the Users Directory, bringing you company profiles, custom attributes, and more, to make Featurebase the foundation for your customer-facing data.

  • SOC 2 Type II certification for even greater security

And much more that you can see from our changelog →

Why pricing had to evolve

As we expanded from a simple feedback toolcomplete customer-facing platform, the pricing didn’t keep up. Because plans were mostly tied to feature access, many helpful features ended up locked behind higher tiers than they should’ve been.

This created two problems:

  1. Smaller teams felt forced to upgrade to access core features - and were paying for empty seats they didn’t actually need.

  2. Some of the world’s largest companies were paying the same as small startups, even though they were getting far more value from the suite.

That wasn’t sustainable or fair. So we decided to move to a pricing model that aligns with how teams actually use Featurebase today. Seats are now the primary value metric.

The more teammates you bring in and the more value you get from the platform. If you stay small, you pay less and still access the powerful tools you need.

New pricing

Since Featurebase has become a unified suite where all of your customer-facing teams (support, product, and GTM) collaborate in one place, we felt that seats naturally became the clearest measure of value. The more teammates you bring into Featurebase, the more efficient your workflow becomes - and the more tools you can replace.

At the same time, we know not every team wants to use the full suite. Some teams only need the product side (feedback, roadmaps, changelogs), while others may focus mostly on support. Seats already reflect this, but we kept this in mind when designing the new pricing. The goal is to be the best option, even if you only use half of the suite.

All plans still include all products, but many of the most helpful features have been brought down to lower tiers now that seats are the main scaling metric.

Fibi AI pricing

When we first launched Fibi AI Agent, we made it free. This made sense early on - usage was low, costs were manageable, and we were iterating fast.

But as adoption grew, two things became clear:

  1. It became too expensive to run at scale for free

  2. If it's free forever, we have no incentive to keep improving it

So we’re introducing a simple, predictable model that still keeps Fibi dramatically more affordable than competitors: $0.29 per successful resolution.

You only pay when Fibi actually resolves a customer question in a helpful way:

  • No resolution = no cost

  • One conversation = one charge maximum

Here’s a quick comparison for 500 AI resolutions per month:

Cost per AI resolution Total cost for 500 resolutions

Featurebase

$0.29

$145

Intercom

$0.99

$495

Help Scout

$0.75

$375

Zendesk

~$1.50

~$750

That’s 3–5x cheaper than all major competitors - while maintaining industry-leading resolution rates (around 60% across customers).

Startup program (80% off)

Alongside the new pricing, we’re introducing our Early Stage Startup Program - designed to make Featurebase accessible for young companies.

Eligible teams can access the new Professional plan at a deep discount for their first 3 years, so you can scale at your own pace without high upfront costs. Learn more here →

Note: The startup program is available only to eligible first-time customers who haven’t been on a paid Featurebase plan before.
