Customize Help Center sidebar styling (expandable collections & text formatting)
Allow admins to fully customize the Help Center sidebar, including the ability to:
Make sidebar collections expandable/collapsible for better navigation.
Show nested collections breadcrumbs - similarly how the Featurebase Help Center looks like

Adjust text styling (e.g., font, capitalization like sentence case instead of ALL CAPS).

Apply branding-specific typography for a more consistent look and feel.

PinnedHey, this feature has now been released. You can enable the “Standalone collection“ feature from the edit collection pop-up available from the dashboard.

Thanks guys for pushing this feature through, just a couple of issues with it:
Top level works but if you add it to other levels then nothing appears in the menu below the collection (it should show the normal nested accordion menu)
The ‘standalone collection’ tick box doesn’t show as ticked once added so not sure you can remove it (or see if it’s on)
Thanks, it’ll then be a really nice way to manage navigation for docs.

Hi Bruno, one more thing, it’s a detail but I wanted to check what you intended to happen.
Currently if you select ‘standalone collection’ on the top level collection, all collections below that also act as standalone even if not ticked. I think ideally for the UX to make sense (being able to tick any collection as standalone) I think if NOT selected it should do the accordion style?

We’d especially like to see the menu support expandable nested collections.
