Discard an admin’s draft

Discards the draft that Put a draft in an admin's composer put into an admin's composer for a conversation. The composer goes back to what it held before the draft, in every browser. Text the admin typed into the draft in a browser stays there.

adminId names the admin, the same way as when the draft was put in. The Featurebase MCP server may leave it out: it always discards the drafts of the admin who connected it.

id - The conversation ID (short ID)

Query Parameters

messageType - Optional. "reply" or "note" discards only that draft; both are discarded when omitted.

Response

Returns the discarded drafts. Returns 404 when there is no pending draft to discard.

This endpoint is only available in API version 2026-01-01.nova and newer.
