Overview

You can set posts made on specific boards to default to "company-only" - meaning they'll only be visible to your team and members of the author's company.

This can be very useful for sensitive feedback (like bug reports), feature requests from enterprise clients, company-specific inquiries, etc.

P.S. Boards can also be defaulted to ‘author-only’ - meaning posts will be visible only to your team and the author, not the author’s whole company.

Tip: Many teams set their 🏢 Enterprise Feedback or 🤝 Partner Requests boards to company-only by default to maintain privacy while still allowing collaboration within each customer's organization.


How to default a board to company-only

To default a board to company-only:

  1. Go to Settings → Feedback → Boards & Typography

  2. Click Edit on the desired board or create a new one

  3. Select ‘Private between author’s company’ under the ‘Post visibility in this board’

  4. Click Save changes
