If your company has multiple different products that are not relevant to each other, you can create separate feedback boards for them that only relevant users see. This way, you can manage multiple unrelated products or user groups under the same organization while showing end-users only what’s relevant to them.

For example, Product A users will only see posts under boards they have been given access to, and the same for Product B, C, etc… users.

The same thing can be done with changelog releases.

This can be done via the user roles feature, which is available on our Enterprise plan.

Setting up role-based boards

Setting up role-based boards requires that you’ve created user roles. After you’ve created user roles, you can make role-based boards:

  1. Go to Settings → Feedback

  2. Click Edit next to the board you wish to make role-based

  3. Select the user role that you want to give access to and the one that you want to hide this board from

  4. Click on Change Board

Now, only users with that role can view or create posts under the board.
